Impacts of information propagation on epidemic spread over different migration routes

چکیده

Information propagation driven by the epidemic may cause individuals awareness to change their behavior prevent themselves from being infected, as we observed in reality that aware often migrate away infected areas. In this work, study coupled interaction of spreading and information over a two-layer metapopulation network, where unaware separately take different migration routes, mainly explore how individual route affects spreading. Combined with transition probability tree states, use Markovian chain approach derive threshold for proposed model. Through numerous Monte Carlo simulations, verify accuracy equations prediction dynamics. The results show role transmission suppressing is limited. Further increase rate beyond some critical value will no longer affect epidemic. Detailed analysis has consider individuals, especially mobility frequency. addition, initial population distribution also fundamental factor dynamic. With heterogeneous distribution, frequent would delay spread, while homogeneous it does not. between separate routes provides helpful guidance intervention reality.

On the Dynamics of Deterministic Epidemic Propagation over Networks

In this work we review a class of deterministic nonlinear models for the propagation of infectious diseases over contact networks with strongly-connected topologies. We consider network models for susceptible-infected (SI), susceptible-infected-susceptible (SIS), and susceptible-infected-recovered (SIR) settings. In each setting, we provide a comprehensive nonlinear analysis of equilibria, stab...

Impacts of Social Justice Perception on Elite Migration

Elite migration and brain drain trend in Iran have undergone a dramatic ascent in the past few decades while we are seriously in need of educated manpower to help accomplish the 20-year national vision. So to consider brain drain is necessary and must be accounted by policymakers in all levels. In the upcoming paper, we study the brain drain as a social problem and elaborate a five-dimensional ...

Epidemic Spread on Weighted Networks

The contact structure between hosts shapes disease spread. Most network-based models used in epidemiology tend to ignore heterogeneity in the weighting of contacts between two individuals. However, this assumption is known to be at odds with the data for many networks (e.g. sexual contact networks) and to have a critical influence on epidemics' behavior. One of the reasons why models usually ig...

Spread of epidemic disease on networks.

The study of social networks, and in particular the spread of disease on networks, has attracted considerable recent attention in the physics community. In this paper, we show that a large class of standard epidemiological models, the so-called susceptible/infective/removed (SIR) models can be solved exactly on a wide variety of networks. In addition to the standard but unrealistic case of fixe...
